I’ve known Delanie’s mom for a while now. We met a few years back… I started photographing her oldest daughter Natalie when she was about 6 months old and then little brother Blake came along. Not too long after we did one of Blake’s milestone pictures, Megan told me that another little princess was arriving soon! I was sooo excited and we started texting ideas back and forth right away.
In the last few years, Megan started a new business. She custom designs invitations, announcements, wedding place cards and more… and she seriously does the most beautiful and creative work! It literally takes me forever to design a birth announcement, (I used to use templates that I bought online), but now Megan is my go to person for these. So whenever you order a birth announcement through me, she will design your custom card based on the images you choose. Everyone should be ordering these in my opinion, they are a one of a kind keepsake! You can go check out some of her beautiful work here: Megan Beaudrie Designs
I’m just so grateful for the wonderful friendships this business has brought me. I love that I will get a random text from Megan with an updated picture of my work up on her walls, letting me know how much she appreciates it, so much so that it made her cry.
Owning your own business can definitely be stressful and overwhelming at times. There have been so many times I’ve felt like quitting over the years. I’ve played the comparison game and felt as if my work wasn’t good enough, and I’ve also been completely out of balance at times. I’m telling you this because whenever I have felt that way, I always come back to the good moments, like these little gestures from people that help keep me going. I get to document these sweet babies during their first days and create memories for their family to cherish. I AM making a difference, and I’m doing exactly what I was meant to. ❤️
Meet gorgeous baby Delanie:
