I cannot say enough, how much I love photographing weddings in northern Michigan! The scenery is just amazing, it’s such a breath of fresh air from the city life of metro detroit. This day in particular was gorgeous and the wedding party was such a blast to work with. I keep telling myself that I am going to shorten up these wedding previews to “just the highlights”, but they just keep getting longer and longer! In my own defense though, I am a visual storyteller, so for me, it is hard to leave out pieces of “the story”. Eric and Megan, here is a look back at the day you said “I do” Enjoy!
Hair & Makeup: Vogue Salon & gorgeous hair piece from: Hair Comes the Bride
Dress from Bella Rose
What I LOVED about this wedding was that they did the “first look” instead of the traditional groom seeing the bride coming down the aisle for the first time. The reason this is awesome is A. you get that moment all to yourselves, without
all the people staring at you and all the cameras flashing, and B. more time for pictures! This couple seriously might have the most wedding pictures ever for that reason 🙂
Here is Eric patiently awaiting his bride …
These bridesmaids were fabulous.
Despite the crazy wind at the beach, the bride was determined to get some stellar beach shots… I’m glad we stuck it out 🙂
Great shot here on the left by Lorree 🙂
Delicious cupcakes from: Tas T Creations
First Dance to: “You and Me” by Penny and the Quarters
I can’t say that I’ve ever really experienced a dull reception… there is always some fun going on on the dance floor!
Until next time Castle Farms…
Special thanks to Lorree at Lorree Smith Photography for second shooting this wedding with me!
