For more than fifteen years, Carrie has specialized in fine art newborn and maternity photography that captures the quiet, short lived details of becoming a family.

Newborn Photography in Detroit
Your baby is only this small for about two weeks.
Carrie's Detroit newborn sessions take place in a climate controlled studio stocked with everything you could need. Wraps, bonnets, outfits, props, and backdrops in every palette, so you arrive with just your baby and a bottle, and leave knowing the portraits are done.
Sessions are unhurried (most run two to three hours, with plenty of time for feeding and snuggles) and typically scheduled within the first five to fourteen days after birth, when newborns are sleepiest and safest to pose. Every session includes studio time, professional retouching, and a private online gallery. Parents, siblings, and the family dog are all welcome in frame.

Every maternity session includes full access to Carrie's gown collection, a curated wardrobe of designer maternity dresses sized for every bump, at no additional cost. For the best results, most clients schedule their session between 30 and 34 weeks.

Carrie's milestone sessions are designed to capture the big moments you'll want to frame forever. The first time she sits up on her own, the wobbly legged stand, the messy joy of a first birthday cake smash.
Most families book a "watch me grow" series at six, nine, and twelve months, finishing with a first birthday cake smash and a family portrait.
Every milestone session is held in Carrie's Taylor, MI studio and includes styling, props, outfits, and a full selection of backdrops, so you can show up with a happy baby and nothing else. Sibling sessions are warmly welcomed, and Carrie's been doing this long enough to make even the shyest toddlers laugh.
